The new All American Straight Egyptian Challenge Cup kicks off at the Scottsdale Arabian Horse Show

Lexington, Kentucky – January 31, 2018 

The Pyramid Society is proud to announce the innovative All American Straight Egyptian Challenge Cup, a member awards program designed to recognize two and three year old participating Straight Egyptian Arabian horses at designated shows across the United States. Contenders may then compete for additional recognition and paybacks at the Challenge Cup Championships, held annually at the Egyptian Event in in Lexington, Kentucky. 

The first Challenge Cup competition will be held in conjunction with the Straight Egyptian classes at the Scottsdale All Arabian Horse Show on Friday, February 16th, 2018, at Westworld in Scottsdale, Arizona. “There’s never before been an opportunity like this for Straight Egyptian Arabians showing in open competition,” states Pyramid Society President, Becky Rogers.  

Following  Scottsdale, 2018 Challenge Cup participating shows include:

Cowtown Classic, March 16-18, Fort Worth, Texas

Riverboat Parlay, March 21-25, Tunica, Mississippi

Region 12 Championship Show, May 7-12, Perry, Georgia

Wisconsin Arabian Horse Association Show, August 2, Jefferson, WI

East Coast Championships, August 2-5, Lexington, Virginia  

*Arabian National Breeder Finals, Sept. 26-29, Scottsdale Arizona

    *(participating restrictions for 3 year olds because show dates follow 2018 championships.)
