Taking place just a few days before the Qatar Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe weekend, which also includes the Qatar Arabian World Cup, the Purebred Arabian Sale organised in partnership with AFAC will take place on September 28 at 2pm.
Now available online, the catalogue is made up of 128 lots that includes 46 two-year-old colts and fillies, 20 broodmares, 37 horses in training, two yearlings, as well as 23 endurance horses.
Two-Year-Old Section
Of the 46 two-year-old colts and fillies that will go under the hammer, there are notably sons and daughters of such established sires as Dahess, Madjani, Mahabb, Majd Al Arab, Munjiz and Njewman.
Haras de Saint-Faust consigns nine lots, including:

Lot 5, a son of Majd Al Arab out of Gr.2 PA placed Mhaja, a sister to Gr.1 PA winner SIMMBAD;

Lot 30, a half-brother by No Risk Al Maury to Gr.3 PA victor and Gr.1 PA placed CAMBRYDGE.
Haras de Mandore offers six two-year-olds, of which:

Lot 38, a son of Nizam out of Gr.1 PA winner Djesabelle, a sister to dual Gr.1 PA winner CHERAZADE, also the dam of Gr.3 PA victor SAHABBA;

Lot 42, a brother to triple group-winning FARH;

Lot 44, another son of Nizam, a half-brother to group winner AHZAR, out of a sister to Gr.1 PA victor, DORFA.
Of the six two-year-olds presented by Ecurie d’Ossau:

Lot 32, a half-sister to the stallion DIVAMER by Munjiz out of Gr.1 placed DIVANA, herself a sister to the stallion DARMAN;

Breeding Section
The sale continues with a section totally dedicated to breeding which is made up of 20 broodmares, including several that are in foal to the best Arabian stallions, as well as two yearlings. Of these:

Lot 52 SAFA, a sister to Arabian Trophy des Pouliches (Gr.1 PA) winner SAMAA, sold in foal to Kalino from Haras du Grand Courgeon. She is also a half-sister to Gr.1 PA AL FATIH.

Lot 54 POURVOUS KOSSACK, an own sister to Gr.3 PA placed PENTAGON and a half-sister to Gr.2 PA victor POULAIN KOSSACK from Jean-François Bernard. A four-time winner, this maiden is in foal to Al Mamun Monlau.

Lot 57 MHAYA, Gr.2 PA placed, a sister to Gr.1 PA SIMMBAD by Njewman in foal to No Risk Al Maury and consigned by Haras de Saint Faust.

Lot 59 LILLY ROCK, a daughter of Akbar offered from Haras du Saubouas, in foal to Josco du Cayrou carrying her second foal. A winner at four, she is a half-sister to Gr.2 PA DAHWA and a sister to HABOOB, runner-up in the French Arabian Breeders’ Cup (Gr.1 PA).

Lot 67, a yearling by Josco du Cayrou out of Listed PA placed Alcantara from Haras de l’Abbaye.
Horses-In-Training Section
The horses in training section counts a strong 37 lots offered from the best trainers in the discipline including Mme Jean-François Bernard, Thomas Fourcy, Charles Gourdain, Philipe Sogorb and Damien de Watrigant. These include:
- KASHMIIR (lot 102), a four-year-old that won his last start at Aurillac on August 13 and has also finished second and third this year.

STORM TROUPOUR (lot 101), a six-year-old entire that has a handicap rating of 46,5 after two consecutive wins, and recently finished third in the Clarendon Stakes (Gr.3 PA) at Newbury on August 18. Trained by Beverley Deutrom, he is offered from Tylands Farm.

AL RAHA (lot 105), a five-year-old daughter of Majd Al Arab is consigned from Stephane Leveque and won twice last year. Very consistent, she has been placed three times in five outings this season and recently finished fifth.

Endurance Section
This section that is reserved for Endurance horses, will conclude the sale. A total of 23 lots that are specialists in this discipline will come under the hammer including two stallions, PAQUO DES VALETTES (lot 106), classed as “Very good” as a five-year-old over 60km, and MANIFIK (lot 107).
In addition, 21 performers or future performers will pass through the ring including SANDEED (lot 114) classed as “Very good” as a six-year-old over 60km at Lignieres CEI* on July 30 and BEAUFILS (lot 121), classed as “Elite” last year over 60km during the five-year-old final at Uzes.
