After 30 years of breeding, pure bred Arabian horses Susan is returning to her former career, with many thrilling projects lined up for 2023. The award-winning actress revered for her iconic performance in Sam Peckinpah movie, Straw Dogs has made an emotional decision about the future of her world-class breeding programme and exceptional horse enterprise – Georgian Arabians.
Since purchasing her first Arabian in 1993, the Crabbet-bred Luzhana (Rezolute Bay x Ludora), Susan has fulfilled many of her dreams with her treasured Arabian horses, dreams that she shared with her late husband, actor Simon MacCorkindale. These include leasing European Triple Crown winner Essteem (Fame VF x Expressa), and breeding his maternal grandson, British National Champion Stallion SG Imagine (WH Justice x SG Hessta Shaklana), among the great many British National Champions she has bred, both in hand and under saddle.

Susan’s new career opportunities will include a return to the United States and the world of film making, providing less time to devote to her beautiful and much treasured family of Arabian horses. She has therefore decided the time is right to make available this incredible legacy of Georgian Arabians bloodlines for others to enjoy and further their success.
On Saturday 3 June, Susan is inviting a select audience to an exclusive event at Georgian Arabians stud farm where some of her stunning homebred mares will be for the very first time available for sale, offering the chance to own a piece of Susan’s unique breeding vision.
To reserve your place at this private event, please e-mail info@georgianarabians.com. You will receive confirmation by e-mail and you must have this e-mail with you on the day.
