The world’s premier Arabian horse championship series, the Global Champions Arabians Tour (GCAT), makes its debut in the United States today as GCAT Americas kicks off in Scottsdale, Arizona.
This highly anticipated event takes place on 18-20 February, with a total of 143 Arabian horses entered into the competition, with six different countries competing. A total prize fund of $270,000 will be distributed to the Top Ten horses in each championship.
Having enjoyed a successful debut season in Europe and the Middle East last year, this will be the first in the GCAT Americas series. Subsequent shows will be at:
- Miami Beach, Florida, 19-20 April
- São Paulo, Brazil, 13-14 July
- Brandon, Canada, 8-9 August
- Las Vegas, Nevada, 27-28 September
The culmination of the worldwide GCAT 2025 series will take place in the birthplace of the tour in Doha, Qatar, on 3-6 December at the inaugural World Arabian Horse Championship Supreme.
