Expect magic with S² International Productions

Something new is coming to the international Arabian horse stage – S² International Productions. Founded in 2022 by Scott Benjamin and Samantha Mattocks, S² International Productions is focused on sharing the very best in knowledge of and history behind our beloved Arabian horse, as well as inspiring that passion in others.

Both Scott and Samantha are well known internationally, and over the years, they have each built up a reputation as a trusted source of knowledge.

Scott has spent his entire career passionately committed to advancing the Arabian horse around the world. Since earning a Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science from Michigan State University, specialising in Equine Management and Animal Breeding/Genetics, Scott has been actively involved in equine events and breeding, as a consultant, manager, speaker, educator, judge, steward, author, scientist, historian, and event organiser. Since 2009, Scott has been privileged to work for Mulawa Arabian Stud and the Farrell Family in Australia as their Manager of International Marketing and Media Relations.

Samantha is the other half of S² International Productions. Born and raised in a Crabbet Arabian loving family in the UK, Samantha is best known for her multiple award-winning publication, The Arabian Magazine and its offshoot, the beautiful coffee-table worthy The Arabian Breeders’ Magazine. Samantha has travelled the world thanks to the Arabian horse and her connection with it, and she loves nothing more than talking to breeders and sharing their stories and insights into the breed. Her features have been printed in magazines across the world, and she has already been involved in the production of several Arabian horse books, either behind the scenes or through her written work and contributions.

Scott and Samantha share a lifelong love for Arabian horses and a strong friendship that goes back to the inaugural Al Khalediah Arabian Horse Festival in 2008.

“Our aim is simple,” says Scott. “We want to bring the very best knowledge and information that we can to an Arabian hungry audience, and we will do this, initially, through a specially curated collection of limited edition books.

“The first of these is a tribute to the legendary stallion, Ekstern (Monogramm x Ernestyna), who passed away last May. I was privileged to spend a lot of time with Ekstern during my time spent working in Michałow State Stud many years ago – a time that helped put me on the path I am on now. To work on this project with Samantha is a full circle moment for me.”

Further books are already planned for 2023, and details will be released in due course, and the first book for 2024 is already making its way into draft form.

“The launch of S² International Productions in 2023 is the realisation of a long-held ambition,” says Samantha. “We have had many projects in the planning for several years, and now is the time to see them come to fruition.”
