Naomi Nurha 1989 – 2017

We are very sad to share the news that the brilliant British National Champion Naomi Nurha has passed away suddenly at 28 years of age.

Bred by David and Angela Angold of Pinnerwood Stud, Naomi Nurha was by the Blue Ludo son Blue Madrigal, an Anglo Arab out of Fair Legend (Articulate x Marina Fair). Her dam was the Thoroughbred mare Honey Lady (Crown Law x Behave).

Naomi Nurha was owned by Emma Duggan, and together they enjoyed great success together in and out of the show-ring. Many of the titles won were in ridden, but Naomi was also a British National Champion in-hand.

On Monday 16 January, Naomi Nurha passed away suddenly. She had Emma by her side, and she passed away at the same farm where she was born.

Everyone at The Arabian Magazine send their thoughts to Emma, David and Angela at the passing of their once in a lifetime mare.
