On Saturday, August 18th, the prestigious and lucrative Delaware Park Arabian Classic Handicap (G1) – one of the longest-running Arabian graded stakes races on the annual calendar – will take the stage at beautiful Delaware Park.

Many thanks to our sponsor, Mokee Arabians, for making this broadcast possible.

Sponsor Spotlight: Mokee Arabians

Special thanks to Mokee Arabians for sponsoring AJC LIVE FROM DELAWARE.

Former AJC President Kathy Smoke and her husband Paul have been small breeders of Arabian racehorses for nearly 30 years under their brand, Mokee Arabians, located in Britton, Michigan.

Of the 45 horses bred, 35 have made it to the track.

Of the 35 to the track, eleven were stakes winners or placers.

Their homebred horses have won (and sold) inside and outside the United States, and are a perfect example of the lesson that even small breeders of Arabian racehorses can have fun and enjoy lucrative success in the sport.

In addition to their 30 years of breeding and raising homebreds, Mokee Arabians is also an enthusiastic member of the Goldensands Racing (GSR) partnership and will be wearing the “royal purple” GSR colours on August 18th for Majikman, GSR’s entry in this year’s Delaware Park Arabian Classic Handicap.

Kathy & Paul Smoke are wholly dedicated to the growth of Arabian racing. This is the second consecutive year they have sponsored AJC LIVE, and we extend our thanks for their generous support.
