The 15th Annual Sport Horse National Arabian and Half-Arabian Championship Horse Show
The Arabian Horse Association (AHA) is excited to announce its return to Raleigh, N.C. for the 15th annual Sport Horse National Arabian and HalfArabian Championship Horse Show! We are excited to be back this year with many new events and classes.  
 
The show begins on Tuesday, September 5 and runs through Sunday, September 10 at the Gov. James B. Hunt Jr. Horse Complex in Raleigh, N.C. Arabian horse trainers and exhibitors travel with their horses from all over the United States and Canada to participate.  
 
Spectators can enjoy around 120 different classes, including Dressage, Speed Jumper and Carriage Pleasure Driving. Class sessions will begin at 8 a.m. on Tuesday, September 5 and will go until the very end of the show on Sunday, September 10. Admission and parking to the shows are FREE to the public.  
 
There is also a new class making its debut at Sport Horse Nationals this year, Western Dressage Level 2 Championship, which is scheduled for Saturday, September 9 at 8 a.m.  
 
If you are interested in learning more about the Arabian horse, join us at the show for our Total Arabian Interactive Learning (T.A.I.L.) Tours, held on the grounds. T.A.I.L. Tours give an insider perspective of the Arabian breed and the show.  
 
T.A.I.L. Tour dates and times are as follows: 
 
-Thursday, September 7 at 4 p.m. -Friday, September 8 at 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. -Saturday, September 9 at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.

There will also be an Open Barn Night held on Thursday, September 7 at 7 p.m. Bring some food, as well as share with others!  
 
Come out to the Wind and Cheese Party on Saturday, September 9, to make your final bids on the Silent Auction items.  
 
Raffle tickets can also be purchased at the show for a chance to win a Trails West Trailer. There are only 300 tickets available, and the cost is $100 per ticket. All proceeds will go to benefit the Arabian Horse Youth Association (AHYA).  
 
As the premier sport horse event for Arabian horses, this show is the accumulation of dedication, hard work and big dreams. Amateur and professional exhibitors alike come together to put on an impressive display of the magic and versatility of the Arabian breed.
